AdventHealth is a faith-based health care system founded in 1973, with roots traced back to 1866 in Battle Creek, Michigan. The organisation employs more than 100,000 caregivers and delivers whole-person care - addressing body, mind and spirit - across a network of more than 50 hospital campuses and hundreds of care sites in nine states, among them Florida, Texas, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and Wisconsin.
Its services span the care continuum: inpatient and acute care at hospital campuses; physician practices and outpatient clinics; primary, specialty and urgent care; diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation; skilled nursing facilities; and home health agencies and hospice centres. Work is concentrated in clinical research, pioneering treatments, innovative medical care and whole-person health care delivery, and the system is known internationally for its clinical research.
1103 Team Member Services supports the people delivering this care. The organisation's stated culture rests on a Seventh-day Adventist heritage and a mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ, alongside commitments to quality and service excellence, community well-being, high ethical standards, stewardship and inclusiveness.
