ACCA, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, is a global professional body for accountants. Founded in 1904, it offers the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification, a credential ranked at Masters level that is recognized internationally.
The organization operates in more than 52 countries and has over 252,500 members. Its mission centers on providing accessible pathways into the accountancy profession. This ethos dates to its founding, when ACCA became the first such body to admit women, in 1909.
Beyond the core qualification, ACCA provides professional development resources. These include ACCA Careers, a job platform with more than 20,000 live vacancies connecting employers with qualified finance talent, and ACCA-X, an online tuition service.
