BronxCare Health System is a large, voluntary, not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system serving the South and Central Bronx communities in New York City. The system employs more than 4,500 people and operates 859 beds across its facilities.
The organization provides an extensive range of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including emergency medicine, cardiology, surgery, women's health, pediatrics, oncology, and comprehensive diagnostics. Its BronxCare Health and Wellness Center, an outpatient facility, accommodates more than 125,000 visits annually.
As a teaching hospital system, BronxCare also provides graduate medical education to thousands of physicians.
