FASD United is a United States-based advocacy and education organization focused on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). Founded in 1990, it has operated for over three decades, working to improve the quality of life for individuals living with FASD through education, advocacy, and support programs.
The organization runs several key initiatives. Its FASD Family Navigator program provides guidance and support for affected families. In collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and education partners, it developed a K-12 FASD Education and Prevention Curriculum that has been implemented in classrooms across the country. FASD United also hosts an annual International FASD Research Conference and the National FASD Impact Week.
FASD United maintains partnerships across public, tribal, and private sector communities. Its work spans the advocacy, education, and public health verticals, with a culture described as built on hope and resilience and committed to collaboration and solution-focused innovation.
