Giga Energy builds and operates energy infrastructure to power the modern grid and meet AI demand faster. Founded in 2019, the company has grown to 140 employees across five offices, with a focus on the US market. Its operations span two core areas: the development and operation of data center sites, and the manufacture of critical power and cooling infrastructure.
The company has developed 175 MW of data center capacity with over 500 MW in its pipeline. Its manufacturing division has delivered 3.5 GW of equipment, including transformers, switchboards, and modular data centers. Giga Energy operates as a vertically integrated company, controlling site development, manufacturing, and power markets under one roof to provide turnkey solutions from specification to an energized site.
It targets the commercial, industrial, utility, data center, and renewables verticals, positioning itself within a market it values at over $100 billion. The company was founded out of what it describes as frustration with a broken infrastructure industry, and it aims to disrupt the sector while maintaining lead times and quality standards.
