Hezelburcht is a Dutch grant consultancy founded in 1995 in Hoevelaken. The firm supports clients in obtaining and administering grants and subsidies for innovative, sustainable and societal projects. Its work spans the full grant acquisition process, from writing applications to post-award administrative management, across regional, national and European subsidy programmes.
The company began as a specialist adviser on the WBSO, the Dutch R&D tax credit, and has since expanded into general grant consultancy. It advises clients in innovation and R&D, sustainability, universities and other knowledge institutions, municipalities and industry. Its 175 subsidy professionals work from seven offices in three countries: Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Hoevelaken, Nijmegen and The Hague in the Netherlands, Brussels in Belgium, and Dusseldorf in Germany.
Hezelburcht describes its approach as combining financial and substantive expertise. Specialists are recruited from the sectors the firm serves, on the grounds that this lets them speak the language of their clients. The company operates an ISO 9001 certified quality management system.
