About

Safelite Group is the United States' largest auto glass specialist, founded in 1947 in Wichita, Kansas. The company serves 6.2 million customers each year through a network of more than 850 locations across all 50 states, employing 13,500 people. Its core business is the repair and replacement of automotive glass, offered both at fixed service centres and through mobile units that travel to customer locations in most areas. Services are backed by a nationwide lifetime warranty and supported by 24/7 customer service.

On the operational side, Safelite uses a proprietary TrueSeal® installation system for precision glass fitting and equips its technicians with Mobile Resource Management (MRM) handheld devices for real-time job management in the field. Technicians are trained and certified through the company's proprietary SafeTech® programme, with paid training provided from the outset.

Safelite invests in its workforce through a range of structured benefits and development programmes, including tuition reimbursement of up to $5,250 per year, flexible paid time off, and paid volunteer days. The company also operates the Safelite Foundation, through which it engages with local communities. Internally, the company describes its culture around a set of values it calls the "Safelite Spirit," centred on a service and care-oriented mindset.
