Saronic Technologies

About

We're a defense technology company building autonomous surface vessels at scale. Founded in 2022 by a team of veterans and technologists, we're on a mission to protect our way of life by integrating autonomous systems into traditional naval fleets. Our boats go farther and do more with less risk to human life - something we care about deeply since many of us have served.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, we've grown rapidly because we solve real problems for the people who need them most. We design and manufacture our own vessels, control the entire software stack, and have already gone from prototype to production in under a year according to the Secretary of the Navy. We're not just building boats - we're building a hybrid fleet that helps the Navy and Marine Corps accomplish their missions more effectively.

This evolution wasn't just corporate restructuring; it was a response to a critical gap in treating devastating conditions that had long been overlooked by traditional pharmaceutical approaches. Sarepta is a global biotechnology company on an urgent mission: to engineer precision genetic medicine for rare diseases that devastate lives and cut futures short. With headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and operations spanning the United States, Ireland, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, the team is pioneering RNA-targeted therapeutics and gene therapies. Their focus centers on Duchenne muscular dystrophy and limb-girdle muscular dystrophy - debilitating conditions affecting thousands worldwide. Beyond drug development, Sarepta demonstrates deep commitment to patients through programs like SareptAssist, which provides personalized support navigating treatment access, and Route 79, a scholarship program supporting the educational goals of students living with Duchenne.
