Founded in 1947 by John "Jack" Vomela in St. Paul, Minnesota, Vomela began as a modest operation producing die-cut Christmas present tags under the Vomela Specialty Company name. The family-run business has since grown into The Vomela Companies, a full-service specialty graphics enterprise employing more than 1,300 people across 20-plus locations in North America. Growth has come through a combination of strategic acquisitions and organic expansion.
Vomela delivers visual brand experiences on any surface and at any scale. Its work spans specialty printing, die-cutting and custom tags, fleet graphics, retail signage, large-format graphics and event graphics. The company has produced brand visualisation for high-profile events including the Olympics and the Super Bowl, and its client base ranges from globally renowned brands to local ones. Industry verticals served include retail, fleet and transportation branding, events and experiential marketing, and brand marketing and advertising.
The company is led by Thomas Auth, chairman, and Mark Auth, president and chief executive. Its stated focus is on extending the boundaries of what is possible in specialty printing and brand visualisation.
