The platform comprises three primary components. Wiz Code addresses code-level vulnerabilities through scanning and analysis. Wiz Cloud covers cloud infrastructure security, whilst Wiz Defend handles threat response and runtime protection for cloud workloads. The technology incorporates AI-powered capabilities to streamline security operations.
Wiz operates at significant scale. The platform scans and secures over 230 billion files daily, protects 5 million cloud workloads, and is trusted by more than half of the Fortune 100. The company achieved $100 million in annual recurring revenue within 18 months of launch following its 2020 founding. Wiz was acquired by Google Cloud in March 2026.
