Argent Energy is a European waste-based biodiesel producer founded in 2001. The company operates within the transport decarbonisation, biofuels, and waste management sectors, producing sustainable second-generation biodiesel from waste fats and oils. Its production process achieves approximately 90% greenhouse gas emission reduction compared to conventional fossil diesel, with an annual production capacity of around 195,000 metric tonnes.
The company's product portfolio includes biodiesel, technical-grade glycerine (a byproduct of production), bio-fuel oil, and fertiliser - all derived from waste materials. This approach reflects a commitment to circular economy principles, ensuring residual materials are converted into high-value products rather than discarded.
Argent Energy maintains a presence in the United Kingdom and Amsterdam. The company's technical expertise spans biodiesel production, waste-to-biofuel conversion, and circular economy processes, positioning it as a participant in the broader shift toward low-carbon transport fuels.
