Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is a regional transit agency founded in 1983, serving the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex across a 700-square-mile service area. The agency operates multiple modes of public transportation, carrying more than 220,000 passengers per day across North Texas.
DART's services include DART Light Rail, the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) commuter rail, local and express bus routes, paratransit services for individuals with disabilities, and GoLink, an on-demand transit service.
As a public agency, DART plays a central role in regional mobility infrastructure, connecting communities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex through its integrated network of rail, bus, and flexible transit options.
