We're Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM), the largest independent full-line manufacturer of electrical distribution equipment and integrated power systems in North America. For over 75 years, we've been solving power distribution challenges right from the heart of Silicon Valley. What started in a barn on a family ranch in Fremont, CA, has grown into a company with over 1.7 million square feet of manufacturing capacity and $1B+ in annual sales. We've powered tech pioneers like Hewlett-Packard and Apple since they were startups, and today we deliver custom solutions across data centers, healthcare, energy, and infrastructure markets.
Our team pioneered CAD/CAM systems for electrical equipment manufacturing back in 1979, and we haven't stopped innovating since. We design and build everything from state-of-the-art paralleling switchgear systems to fully front-accessible arc-resistant switchgear. With 10,000+ commissioned projects and locations across North America and Europe, we combine deep technical expertise with the flexibility to meet complex power requirements at scale. Tradition and technology still drive our innovation every day.
