Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain industrial relations policies and procedures in line with national labor laws and company objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and other industrial relations matters, facilitating resolutions.
- Represent the company in negotiations with labor unions and employee representatives, including collective bargaining agreement (CBA) discussions.
- Conduct investigations into workplace disputes, complaints, and policy violations, ensuring fair and consistent application of disciplinary processes.
- Advise management on labor law compliance, industrial relations best practices, and potential risks.
- Prepare and submit reports related to industrial relations activities, including grievance statistics, disciplinary actions, and negotiation outcomes.
- Collaborate with HR and legal departments to ensure alignment of industrial relations strategies with overall HR and business goals.
- Organize and deliver training sessions for employees and management on industrial relations policies, labor laws, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor changes in labor legislation and advise the company on necessary adjustments to policies and practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all industrial relations activities and documentation.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial relations role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and regulations (UU Ketenagakerjaan).
- Proven experience in collective bargaining, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
- Strong negotiation, mediation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees, unions, and management.
- High level of integrity, objectivity, and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work Monday–Friday and alternate Saturdays (half day).
- Willing to work in Dumai, Riau.
