Sierra Space builds the foundation for America's presence in space. As a mission-proven Defense Tech company headquartered in Colorado, the company delivers satellite platforms, critical subsystems, reusable spaceplanes, hypersonic technologies, propulsion systems, and infrastructure for the nation's most critical national security missions. With more than three decades of heritage and flight-proven success, Sierra Space serves U.S. National Security, Civil customers, and global allies who depend on their technology to safeguard national interests.
The company is defining the new era of Space Defense through two flagship programs: Dream Chaser, the world's only winged commercial spaceplane, and the LIFE habitat, a large-scale inflatable structure designed for commercial space stations. Sierra Space strengthens deterrence today while preserving freedom of action for generations to come, ensuring the United States and its allies maintain their competitive edge in the domain above Earth.
